Board of Director Biographies

Linda McNair Perry, P.E., President
Linda joined the Board of Directors in 2004. Currently she is Fire Protection-Structural Work Group Manager with SFC Engineering Partnership, Inc., located in Manchester, NH. Linda received her BSCE from Carnegie-Mellon University in her home town of Pittsburgh, PA before moving to New England. Starting out in Massachusetts before moving to New Hampshire, her varied experience over the last 27 years includes the design of electrical and cable tray supports in nuclear power plants, monumental skylights, amusement rides, bridges; commercial structures, and residential buildings. Linda is a licensed professional civil and structural engineer in NH, MA, ME, VT, RI, NC, SC, MS, and FL. She lives in Deerfield with her husband and daughter, who is currently off at college.

Alex Azodi, P.E., Vice President
Alex joined the Board of Directors in 2003. Currently he is the owner and principal engineer at OMEGA Structural Engineers located in Newbury, NH.  Before joining EEC, Alex worked for Stahlman Engineering Corp., a multi-disciplinary engineering, architectural and construction management firm based in New London, New Hampshire, and Atlanta, Georgia. Alex received his master of science degree in structural engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and has practiced in California and Washington states before relocating to New Hampshire. He is licensed as a professional/structural engineer in New Hampshire, California, and Washington. Alex lives in Newbury, New Hampshire with his wife and two sons.

Robert S. Busby, P.E., Secretary
Robert joined the Board of Directors in 2005. He is a Senior Engineer for the Kalwall Corporation located in Manchester, NH. He graduated with a BE in CE from New York University, and an MS in Business Management from Arkansas State University. He is licensed to practice Professional Engineering in New Hampshire and six other states. After serving in the Air Force, Robert worked for True Temper in NY as a Project Engineer, then Stanley Works in CT as a Mechanical Engineer. For the last 25 years his work experience at Kalwall Corporation included the design of curtain walls, shed, ridge, dome, and vaulted skylights. Robert has also designed enclosed walkways and other miscellaneous structures. He is involved in daylighting and thermal calculations too. Robert has two married children living in other states. He lives with his wife in Merrimack, NH.

James Karmozyn, P.E., Treasurer
Jim joined the Board of Directors in 2002. He is a Senior Project Engineer for H. E. Bergeron Engineers, a Civil, Structural, and Land Surveying firm located in North Conway. He graduated with a BSCE and MSCE from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA from Plymouth State University. He is licensed to practice Professional Engineering in the State of New Hampshire. His 23-year engineering experience includes aerospace design, facility engineering, bridge design, and industrial, commercial and architectural structures. Jim practiced in Washington State and New Jersey before returning home to North Conway where he lives with his wife Sharon and three children, Theresa, Joseph and John.

Steve W. Johnson, P.E., Director-at-Large
Steve joined the Board of Directors in 2003. Currently, he works at the Department of Transportation in Concord, NH.  He was an Associate at Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, where he served as Chief Structural Engineer for the New Hampshire Office. Steve received his degree in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University and practiced structural engineering in New York prior to moving to New Hampshire in 1988. His 24 years experience includes bridge design and rehabilitation, transit structures, commercial and residential buildings, dams, wastewater treatment structures and industrial structures. He is a licensed professional engineer in New Hampshire, New York, and Florida. Steve resides in Center Sandwich, NH with his wife Diane and son Erik.
